Seryn is the public brand for Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor, which provides Center Click and operates this website.

Privacy Policy

Center Click does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Gesture processing happens locally on your Mac. No tracking, no remote servers, no third-party analytics SDKs.

Accessibility permission

Center Click requires macOS Accessibility permission to function. Touch and gesture events are processed on your device to recognize the configured gesture.

Center Click does not read the accessibility tree of other apps, read on-screen text, log keystrokes, record gesture contents, or transmit input data. Gesture detection is active only after you grant permission; with no permission the app is idle in the menu bar.

Settings (UserDefaults)

Center Click stores your preferences (gesture enabled/disabled, finger count, and menu bar icon visibility) locally on your device using macOS UserDefaults. Launch-at-login is managed by macOS through SMAppService. These settings never leave your Mac.

Local diagnostics

Center Click writes local macOS diagnostic log entries for app lifecycle events, permission state changes, settings changes, and click-synthesis failures. These logs are stored by macOS on your device and are used for debugging; they do not contain keystrokes, screen contents, or gesture contents.

Crash and usage data

Center Click itself contains no analytics or crash-reporting code. If you have opted into sharing analytics and improvements with developers in macOS System Settings, Apple may provide us crash and usage reports in anonymized or aggregated form, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Purchase data

Center Click is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple handles payment processing, receipts, purchase history, and refunds. Center Click does not receive your payment card number.

Support form

Opening the support and feedback form loads Tally in an iframe. Tally receives request metadata plus source fields. If you submit it, Tally and Seryn receive the information you provide and any file you upload.

Acknowledgement

These terms are between you and Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor. By using Center Click or accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use Center Click or this site.

Mac App Store Purchases and Refunds

Center Click is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple handles checkout, payment processing, taxes, receipts, purchase history, redownloads, and refund decisions under Apple's applicable App Store terms. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor cannot approve, issue, or reverse Mac App Store refunds.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Center Click is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor makes no warranty about the completeness, security, reliability, quality, accuracy, or availability of Center Click. This does not affect any warranties that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Limitations

Center Click uses public Apple frameworks and system APIs. Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor does not guarantee that Center Click will work on every Mac or every version of macOS. In no event shall Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption) arising from the use or inability to use Center Click, even if Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

Prohibited Uses

Use Center Click only for lawful purposes. You may not use Center Click to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Interfere with anyone else's use of the app.
• Disable, overburden, damage, or impair the app or website.

Feedback

You may send feedback about errors, suggestions, ideas, problems, or complaints through Seryn support ("Feedback"). You agree that:

• You will not claim any intellectual property rights in the Feedback.
• Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor may already have similar development ideas.
• The Feedback does not contain confidential or proprietary information from you or any third party.
• Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor has no obligation to keep the Feedback confidential.

Revisions

Seryn Labs, Sole Proprietor may revise these terms at any time without notice. If you continue to use Center Click or this website after changes take effect, you agree to the revised terms.
